In the middle of nature's rich semplicity,  "La Leggenda" agriturism is the ideal place for those contemplating a relaxing and regenerating pause far from the madding crowd and the frantic rhythm of modern-day life.

In the heart of a twelve-acre chestnut wood, at seven hundred metres above sea level, with a wonderful panoramic view upon the valley of the Fiora river, a stone's throw away from Mount Amiata, here you'll find one of nature's accomodating retreats; an ideal place for a healthy and relaxing holiday. "La Leggenda" is comprised of two recently rennovated farmhouses : the Master Farmhouse and the Guest Farmhouse. The latter has been restructured to create eight small appartments, each of which has its own independent entrance. Every appartment consists of a finely furnished main room with a double bed (all except one, which has a single bed) and a bathroom with shower unit.

The restaurant is sited on the ground floor of the Master Farmhouse and is open exclusively to the agriturism guests. Each evening you will find traditional italian food, with dishes chosen from real specialities of Tuscany and Liguria ; simple dishes handed down by tradition with many of the products cultivated and raised on our own farmland.

Between one relaxing break by the swimming-pool and another, you can wander along the pathways of our private woodland, surrounded by greenery ; take a refreshing walk, in harmony with nature, in an untouched nature rich in wild fruit, mushrooms and berries, where you may find a fungo porcino whilst looking for traces of the night-time passing of some of the wild boars which inhabit the woodlands.

Nearby, overlooking La Leggenda - with a view of the secular chestnut wood - is Casa Gatti, originally an old farm house, now renovated and converted into two spacious apartments which still conserve the original local characteristics (clay tiles, stone fireplaces, wooden ceilings and supporting joists).
